Unfortunately, probably not -- scientific bias + bad survey design can result in a survey that I can't answer honestly. There were several forced-choice questions in the survey, questions that presumed e.g. that the participant read smutty slash stories, or that slash was about heterosexual men. So they would have gotten at least sort-of the results they wanted, and since they showed no signs of listening to the community that was telling them that their questions and preconceptions were wrong, they probably would have failed to listen to the people using free text boxes to tell them they were wrong too!
