Meeting with a "green man" figure in Joshua Tree National Park. It really gets the feeling of the Joshua Tree desert. And It understands how that place works - so it has a different set of values/worldview built in. Desert worldview. That's one of the reasons that I also put Territory and Bless Me Ultima. It's so good to see some desert-centered fantasy that gets it right, after so much forest-centered fantasy.
