I think passwords are a good idea, honestly, but I understand that they intimidate a lot of people, who are all "but I have to write Good Vidder X and ask her for a password? what if she doesn't like me? what will I say?" And I think a lot of people miss out on good vids that way. Which saddens me -- I wish I could convince people that it's okay to ask.
