Me
I've got the same username all over. I'm here on greatestjournal, here on Vox (also, note, owned by sixapart), and nowhere on journalfen 'cause you have to pay or con someone into inviting you. This is easy, because my lj username is actually the atypical spelling of "erythros," and thus not a popular username. Also, it's in the masculine form.
BUT. If everybody decides to go elsewhere for their fannish needs -- which I'm not saying will happen -- let me know. Because it took me, like, six years to find fandom again after y'all left mailing lists for blogs -- I'm still finding people on lj and going "omg! I remember her from prospect_l! I think! I wonder if it's her!"
For context, the fannishly interested can check out lolaraincoat's list of suspended communities and journals and liz marc's discussion about Warriors for Innocence, which is the goup that may be reporting these things to lj abuse. Also, you can see an example suspension letter at jamoche's journal. Also on fandomwank, here, but note that the servers are particularly robust tonight. (ctrl-shift-r may bring pages up if standard refresh doesn't).

At least I don't have to worry about my fic- just one of the many reasons I keep it on my own site. And perhaps I should also reorg my bookmarks..

I think people have several concerns:
1. It sets a precedent for considering "interests" as "promotion of." That is, I am now not just interested but promoting the homosexual agenda (a joke), the postprocessual agenda (a theory joke), flannel pajama pants, and anthimeria (verbing a noun). Considering the variety of things that people list in their interests, some of which are illegal as read, this opens up a lot of potential for abuse. It means someone just has to report your journal, and you could be suspended. (At least one incest survivor journal was suspended for including interests like, well, incest.) So people are concerned that legal practice will be ignored because the phrasing involves words that aren't even illegal.
2. It sets a precedent for permanent suspension without a chance for defense, which is what the TOS tells us we get. And sets a precedent for ignoring the difference between communities that post fiction (or RPG) about squicky things, and communities that promote squicky things.
2a. This does not mean that it's not stupid to have incest in your interests. :)
3. ... and finally, fandom is a fickle beast. We pounced on lj, when there were a number of other options available six-seven years ago, but people have been slowly leaving after the 6A acquisition. If a critical mass of BNFs leave, that's all it takes to get a large part of fandom to move. :) I dunwanna have to track everyone down again.
