Mythbusters 8x01! Episode review!

Season premiere of Mythbusters = A++ would watch again!

In case there are people who care about, like, SPOILERS, have some squee

Points in favor of this episode of Mythbusters:

1. Mythbusters is on my tv computer again!

2. Grant ACCIDENTALLY FLASHED A NIPPLE. It was windy!

3. Adam and Jamie walked into the sunset again! At the end!

4. Jamie built a giant canon to fire SODA CANS. Then he laughed a lot! And said "this is the sound of Mr. Hyneman having fun!" Also he called it his pop gun, because he thought of a joke. JAMIE. ♥ ♥ ♥

5. Adam made a joke about a canon -- a different canon, there are TWO canons in this episode -- and he was like, "oh man, Jamie, does this remind you of dealing with cows back on the farm?" And Jamie went with his joke! He played the straight man, and he said "it really does" and then as he finished putting a slushie Mythbusters non-trademarked slush drink in the canon, he patted it and called it Bessie. JAMIE.

6. Grant, Tory, and Jessie climbed into a helicopter like JIM ELLISON or something. SRSLY.

7. Jamie doesn't react much when something hits him in the face.

8. Blue slushie Mythbusters non-trademarked slush drink explosions IN SLO-MO.

9. Listen, they got slush drink machines for the shop! You know Tory drank half of one, and Adam drank the other half, and then they compared their blue tongues, and then Jamie rolled his eyes and grumbled about sugar highs.

10. Jamie told Adam to close his eyes so Jamie could paint a word picture, but then Jamie refused to close his eyes in return. Awwwww Jamie!

Points against:

1. Now it is over. :(

2. Tory had to go to the ER because he fell trying to be a superhero. (Not a metaphor.)

3. The team continues to use "crazy" and "insane" a lot, and it makes me wince every time.

4. I miss Kari!

Listen, he handcuffs himself to a helicopter in basically the first episode. It was memorable! The first time I saw it I spent like five minutes going "it'll just rip your hand off when you fall!" and "oh god."

Ha, no, they just hung from the helicopter and tried to get in. People hanging from helicopters just always reminds me of that ridiculous Sentinel scene.
