Somehow I think I missed commenting on this during the anon period, but I love it! It is flashy and bright and pretty in just the right amount, but I especially love how you've constructed more of a character study for Aisha, which I think was mostly under the surface of the movie? I only saw the movie once, and awhile ago, but I remember it never looking where I wanted it to be looking! I love the focus on the moment where she seems to be deciding whether to shoot at the Team or at the cannon fodder in uniforms, and how she's become part of the team by the end.

I'm falling hard for Losers fandom at the moment, and this is excellent! You've captured Aisha's contradictions, the heat and violence of her tussles with Clay, and her gradual adoption of, and by, the team.

Oh gosh, thanks so much for this comment! Yeah, for me the movie wasn't focused on the most interesting parts of the story, and so I wanted to make a vid for ... kind of a different movie. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I love this vid, and I'm wondering, when you made it, did you have Comics!Aisha's backstory in mind, or does this come purely from the movie? It had shades of Comics!Aisha, to me, but maybe I brought that on my own.

I did have comics!Aisha's backstory in mind! I actually haven't read the Losers comics, but I have friends who talk about them a lot, so I inevitably brought that in when I was trying to do an Aisha vid. I guess you could say it's fannish-osmosis backstory?
