In no particular order:

Lex needs to heal up, and quick. I'm really over the scabs. Honest. They can stop now.

Kinda creeped out by the Lex and Lionel hug at the end, because almost all the occasions where I can remember Lex and Lionel touching involved Lex looking pained or shying away. Bad touch! I mean, in my head it has this whole "for various plotting-against-father reasons, Lex says he'll be Lionel's 'son' again" thing, which is creepy. Really really creepy. Especially the look on Lionel's face at the end of the hug, which was a little -- someone-just-goosed-me-ish. Eeeeeep.

Loved the Clark and Lex hug. Awwwwww. So adorable. So, so adorable. And "It's almost worth being stuck on an island for three months just to see that look on your face?" Awwwwwww. Especially given the look on Clark's face (following that line; the look on his face before that line was a little blah). Also, "if it's not too presumptuous, I hope you'll consider me part of the family." And the big grin on Clark's face then. Awwwwwwww. So, so, so gay. In an adorable way.

Jonathan seems to think that Lex is okay now that Jonathan's compass steered him to survival, but I have to ask -- how? I mean, compass, great, but how'd he know what direction to go if he didn't know where he was?

Blah blah boring blah Clark-reveals-weakness-to-more-people blah. He couldn't have said "I need to go get it" and left to do his impromptu surgery? He couldn't have put something else in the jar? It was pretty obvious Mr. Edge didn't know what he'd stolen, just that it was valuable.

Lionel and Morgan were kinda slashy. They buried the bodies in the harbor (in KANSAS. Just sayin') together back in their youth. How cute.

Lana killed a dude. He was impaled, in that standard "taking-some-of-the-blame-off-the-character" Smallville way. I kicked him, yerhonour, and he just sorta fell into a pitchfork. I didn't MEAN to. Really. Although I was about the maybe shoot him and the whole experience didn't seem to phase me much. I cried more about the Talon than about sorta-accidentally killing a guy. But I'm really sorry! And we'll never mention it again!

Ooooh, Lionel's minion has a magic laptop, just like Willow!

Clark comes out to Lana! His Metropolis days may disgust her, but they're a part of him, and he can't make it go away, no matter how hard he tries. Poor Lana. She's so dense. Maybe eventually she'll work it out.

I was ambivalent about this episode. It seemed... I don't know. The pacing was off? Something? It could have been more fun, but somehow wasn't. People seemed to just be saying things, without background motivation or character depth...

Spike's accent was off, too, which was a little... disconcerting. Also, there was overdubbing. What's with the bad overdubbing?

I didn't understand why Spike suddenly, inexplicably wanted Angel's approval and recognition. I mean, it was pretty lame of Angel not to tell the Angel crew that Spike had a soul now and had saved the world, but why does Spike care? We've demonstrated that he really doesn't give a damn about what most people think of him...

Spike's non corporeal. But Gunn looked him up and down. I was all "dude, Spike/Gunn!" Because, well, Gunn's hotter than Angel. He just is. Especially in pinstripes.

The whole thing about giving Gunn knowledge of demon law, and then having Spike go to Fred because she does the science of the occult or whatever, makes me worry about Wesley. What's his job now? Why's he there? What're his plots going to be like? Are we ever going to see him? I kinda like Wesley. I want Wesley to be around. At least Angel and Wesley are still touching each other, for those A/W slashers. A/W makes so much more sense than A/S anyway.



And totally random: Skinner's on Tarzan, and CSM's been on Smallville. Time to do massive WB crossovers? You be the judge.
