Some lists

1. Dinner yesterday was salmon with lemon and dill and couscous and asparagus and local white wine and it's the kind of meal we only make like once a month but it was pretty darn nom.
2. Strawberry-rhubarb pie! I made the filling, and![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
thingswithwings made the crust, and it smelled awesome.And we bought a whole lot of extra rhubarb and chopped it and put it in the freezer, so we have two more potential pies.
3. We thinned the peas and the beans yesterday, and they're all doing great, and the tomatoes have shot up like twelve inches, and it looks like we might have a couple cherry tomatoes soon.
4. What I'm saying is, it's like it's almost getting to be summer here!
5. We are rewatching the X-Files (but skipping select episodes) and discovering how much better the plot works if you assume that Skinner is spanking Mulder some of the time. Also, Scully remains awesome.
6. I now have three whole pairs of capri pants! And I can walk outside without overheating.
7. Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Things that make me go argh to varying degrees:
1. The strawberry-rhubarb pie didn't set right, and I had to pop it back in the oven for half an hour, possibly because our oven loses too much heat. I will cook the next pie for, like, two hours, because I hate liquidy pies.
2. OMG vimeo deleted 220 of our videos and now we have to reupload them and aaaaaah.
3. Pleasepleaseplease tell me that you're having trouble getting embedded video to load on dw right now, because it would relieve my mind greatly if I knew it wasn't just megavideo, which is what we planned to switch to.
4. The page up key on my laptop keyboard snapped off and won't go back on. It's still covered under warranty, which means that I get a new keyboard for free -- yay, because my keyboard if v dirty and some keys stick and so on. But boo that they're like "that is considered an at-home repair" which means that I have to replace it myself. They were like, here's a webpage with detailed directions! Have fun! Or you can pay us $83! If that sounds better! Meep.
I should concentrate on pie. That's what I should do. Calm fruit icon. Yes.
