One of my coworkers came up to me yesterday and said they were going to get a text message from the campaign, pre-announcing his VP choice.

And because I could not remember Biden's name, I said, "Do you think it'll be the old white guy?"

To which they responded, "The one who doesn't photograph well?"

I have a feeling I'm going to see that conversation replayed, metaphorically, a lot in the coming days.
