Here too. Frightening. Really, really frightening. I mostly walk along the river, because then you don't have to cross any streets... but I still risk my life rather more than I'd like.
Being a pedestrian should not be a circus trick: "now watch as MLE attempts to cross the street in Japan! be very quiet as she performs this death-defying feat!"
