I have a Vostro 2510 and a job that involves a lot of dust :) Some of those motherboards were installed wrong, not broken though use, though -- one of their tech guys didn't put in the service number, so they sent out a new guy with a different motherboard even though they just needed to, you know, type in the service number. And one of them had a flawed video chip that put tiny lines across the screen that the tech guy tried very hard to convince me were normal visual noise because he didn't want to have to replace it again.
It's funny, because the rest of the computer works perfectly - the fan works, the lcd is still perfect despite two years of thumping, the case doesn't have a crack on it. But the motherboards, man.
How about yours? I've heard the XPSes tend to burn through them.
