For those of you who don't follow Tom Tomorrow and Bill Harris's This Modern World Blog, I reproduce the following link.

Now, understand that I was already pissy about politics. That cheating and wrangling and things like Sinclair Broadcasting have ticked me off, yea truly.

This story turned me into CAPSLOCK ERUTHROS. And others have the same response -- I have yet to send this link to someone on IM who didn't immediately end up capslocking a FUCK! or similar.

Because... KLAS-TV, a Las Vegas, Nevada (for those of you not keeping track, a swing state) CBS affiliate, reports that a voter registration company funded by the RNC dumped voter registration forms marked "Democrat" in the trash and only filed "Republican" forms.

*kicks things* *remains CAPSLOCK ERUTHROS*

Note that the pages on the dKosopedia have been thrown up pretty quickly and are a bit of a mess, organization-wise.

I saw that earlier. I was too tired and, sadly, unsurprised for capslock. I mostly just muttered "fucking bastards" a lot... *disgusted look*

What I want to know is, why the *fuck* aren't any of the major news outlets picking this story up?

Based on my carefully calculated (otherwise known as "made up") criteria, something isn't a story until it's on news.google.com, the nytimes, or the washington post. And this isn't.

But! In the hours since I posted, it hit salon.com's war room, which is sorta the next bloggy stage between dailykos and the major outlets. And stories do often migrate from there to the nytimes and washington post, so it may yet happen.
