There's nothing like getting back from a long trip to discover that the toilet now runs constantly to the point of overflowing and the bathroom sink is stopped up. Whee, waiting for a plumber. Whee, letting in the plumber and being self-conscious about mess in hallway. Whee, plumber running in and out and me in pajamas. Whee, inability to take a shower because neither the plumber nor the landlord ever calls before coming over. Altogether whee. (Plumber has now been and gone and things appear to be fixed. Probably.)

However, the BEA was fun if exhausting, as per.

I saw the BEA on C-Span BookTV and thought of you. :)

And I was just wondering -- we sent you and Michelle a package a couple weeks ago, and we didn't know if you'd gotten it, because it really ought to have arrived. (It included the mystery book you left here when you were visiting.)

Yes, we did! I wasn't here/there to get it, but now I have seen it, and dude the Foster's chocolate sauce has the COOLEST TOP EVER. :) We must now acquire ice cream!

Also, expect package, as we obtained a cool thing or two for you. (Probably still in the car, as books are kinda heavy, and we have stairs bleh. Putting them in the car at darthrami and strangeselkie's place, we could use the elevator! and a cart! Here, it is all about musclepower, and my shoulder aches from the BEA already wah.) Also you should go to BEA some year. You're an "educator," you know, so you totally count as related to the book industry.
