eruthrosI just saw the word "phallus" in a slash story. In the middle of a sex scene. Not discussing imagery. No. Something like "licked his phallus." Bailing now, sir. (Not that I wasn't already dubious.)
I'm sorry. There are some words that should never be used in that context, unless one of the men is Fraser, and even then it's iffy.
It immediately sent me reeling through the halls of "please, somebody, never let me see these words in sex scenes ever again." Member. Rosebud. Pulsating. Starfish. Throbbing. Laved. Center of his being. Center of his anything. Wet heat. Manhood. Maleness. (How do you lick someone's maleness, anyway?) Swollen mound. Gaping hole. (If it's gaping, there's something wrong.
