eruthrosSo Trillian, as I'm sure y'all know, can sign in to multiple accounts of the messaging services. I didn't particularly care, to start out with, as I've been using just the one AIM screen name for ages upon ages.
But today I randomly thought, well, maybe I'll add both of my old AIM screen names, and see who all is online, and what's going on with them. I probably haven't used one of them for three years, but I added it and all the contacts popped up...
... and I went "who are all of these people?" I feel like such a doof! I mean, I remember a lot of the less ridiculous screen names. But there are five where I have absolutely no idea. None at all. They're the ones that are mostly initials, or numbers, or not real words, or whatever, but still. Five people. Six if you count the one that I have a pretty decent guess at (because the name has "God" in it), but it's really 100% a guess.
It's probably déclassé to IM them all "hi, I haven't talked to you in ages, who are you?" Especially since the reason they probably weren't on my buddy list for my second screen name is because I never talked to them even when I had them on my list.
