Guys, for my birthday thingswithwings wrote me the most amazing B5 story EVER. She said she wanted to give me something I didn't have and this is totally it! It's beautiful post-series (sort-of) fic, with all the people I like best. And it's lovely and lyrical and it makes my heart hurt in just the right way.

B5 is good tv in some ways, and bad tv in other ways -- it's always pretty stiff, so the dialogue is always better in my head. And it has Gay Problems, and PoC Problems (mostly, that there aren't enough of them, and those that exist die or get addicted to drugs or whatever). But the alien characters are amazing, and there's a point at which it's like the best SGA fanfic I've ever read, and I'm sitting there holding my breath, so. Take it as a qualified rec :) If you're interested, I've got the whole shebang except for the pilot on DVD.

Ah, what doesn't have two sides of the coin:) And I'll definitely take you up on that (once I get through The Sentinel, The Inside and Being Human, that is. How do I suddenly have so much TV to watch?).
