Foodie moment

eruthrosOh yes, today has been bad for me.
For brunch, I made scramble with onions and mushrooms and fire-roasted tomatoes. And, of course, eggs. (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
m_shell is studying and thus I did a fair amount of cooking by myself today).
And then I made something she's been craving for a while -- shortbread with scharffenberger cacao nibs. The shortbread was made with whole wheat pastry flour, which makes it look less like shortbread, but it is still nummy.
And then I went out shopping and purchased yoghurt (and as far as I'm concerned, that is how it's spelled) so that we could have latkes for dinner. Mmmm, latkes. I did much grating and adding of matzo meal and stirring, andm_shell did the actual frying (I always fear I won't be able to tell when they're done) while I did the salad-making. And then there was shortbread with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Mmmmm.
Also, I did other things today. Probably. Oh! I slept in. That was very exciting, but probably a bad idea, as tomorrow I must wake up before 6 am again. Andm_shell's mom gave us both pink socks for chanukah. Whee!
