... because it's my job to notice when a person starts out eating espresso chip ice cream and ends up tasting like chocolate ice cream.

And it's also my job to keep reminding [livejournal.com profile] m_shell, wonderful as she is in all things, that adverbs are fun, yes, but less of them please. And don't put them back when you rewrite it either. Hey! I saw that one sneaking back in.

I just did a quick read of [livejournal.com profile] m_shell's Dawn/Chloe story. She's hoping to post it tonight so as to at least post before being Jossed, even if it won't last.

It's so cute! Adorable femmeslash. I'm hoping she'll post it to ClarkLexFic and the Smallville Slash Archive since, you know, my girl's finally writing in a fandom that actually has a central archive. (I'm impressed by her determination, because I've never been able to get into a fandom that is based around ff.n. The pop-ups, the interface, the formatting -- oy. It all drives me crazy.)
