Lesson learned today: all biochemical processes could be improved with glitter.

Especially meiosis, which is a really boring way to get genetic diversity. More glitter! Leather pants! Kohl eyeliner! Big stage show! Come on, we can do better than this.

Michelle's studying for her first exams, and complained that meiosis was a boring way to achieve genetic diversity. I said it needed more glitter. Then we decided that all biochemical wossnames needed more glitter. Because glitter=good. Not very interesting, really. Although the whole glitter and genetic diversity in the same sentence thing makes me think of Ewan McGregor in Velvet Goldmine...

Hi, stumbled across this on friendsfriends and since I'm currently procasinating on studying for a microbial genetics test, I must agree. ALL biological processes would be must cooler with glitter. Especially DNA replication. *goes off to imagine DNA Pol III in glitter and leather pants, leading the Big Bad Replication Stage Show*
