And, oh man, as if Psychopathia Sexualis hadn't nicely laid all of that out fifteen years prior? And as if folks hadn't bought it to read it as porn?

ahahaha. as if England in 1900 hadn't just spent a century or two being ALL ABOUT SPANKING. seriously, if there's a nation more interested in sadistic assplay than Victorian England, then I have yet to encounter it.

I also love how nobody has a sexual practice until it's named and written about in scientific books.
