One of the things thingswithwings and I are trying to do with the kink_bingo wiki is to expand the fandoms, and more importantly the types of fandoms, that we depict in the images that accompany the text. The examples I come up with are almost always from my fannish history -- I can think of a Buffy example for anything -- and TVtropes is not always descriptive enough to be helpful.

So, in the interests of expanding the fandoms, I have some questions for you guys! I'd love to hear about examples from comics or live action tv or anime or movies or things you know I've seen or things you know I haven't seen. (Episode or issue names/numbers/plot summaries/some other way to find things would be helpful but isn't necessary.)

1. Animal-people! People who turn into animals, people who have animalistic features, people who wear animal outfits, people who act like animals a la Wolverine.

2. Bondage! Bondage is so easy to do that I always go "oh, whatever, any scene I've seen on tv," but really I ought to expand the fandoms. We'd love all kinds of bondage: straightjackets, handcuffs, chained up, complicated rope bondage, hogtied, tied to chairs, tied to someone else, anything.

3. Mind control! Or hypnosis or amnesia or anything similar.

4. Sensation play type stuff -- people brushed with needles or fur or enjoying their silk shirts or whatever. Or blindfolds! Blindfolds are good.

5. Anything that your fandom is really good at! Like, Star Trek TOS is hugely into mind control, and Veronica Mars is all over voyeurism, but I'd never have known that without watching those shows, so what am I missing from your favorite show?

The best part about Monsier Mallah is that he was in love with a disembodied (human) brain in a jar (who returned his affections and also identified as male.) It was heavily implied that had some kind of sexual relationship, too, although thankfully we were spared the details.:) Oh, and Ultra-Humanite is another DC monkey-man; he's a human super-scientist who likes putting his brain in other bodies to get eternal life, but he's looked like a white gorilla for years now.

Catman and Bronze Tiger are two more DC guys; Catman actually lived (naked!) with a pride of lions for a while, whereas Bronze Tiger is a marital artist who fights/commits crime wearing a big tiger head. Seriously.

A good half of Spider-Man's rogues gallery is animal themed (The Scorpian! The Rhino! When his villains team up it sounds like he's battling the Bronx Zoo.) Anole is a lizardy-mutant who's one of the newer X-Men. And there are a ton of Green Lanterns with animal features, from full-on talking squirrel Chip to dog-like Gnort.

Oh, and Marvel also has Beta Ray Bill, an anthromorphic horse alien with the power of Thor. For reals.
