For my birthday this past weekend, I got the flu. Now I am achey and tired and cranky and fever-and-chills-y and hard-to-focus-y and I can't read fic and I screwed up the decreases in my knitting like twelve times yesterday because I couldn't count.

So I thought it was time to post a guessing-fannish-stuff meme!

Some months ago, aria posted a bunch of post secret-style secrets from the POV of various characters, and asked people to guess who wrote which secret. At the time I thought it was a great idea, and wanted to turn it into a meme (again), but then it took me a long time to make any secrets, and also to come up with secrets, and anyway I'm bad at getting around to posting things, so I just stuck them over in posts-to-maybe-make-someday. But today is clearly a good day for it!

Fandoms include some combination of: Mythbusters, Babylon 5, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Star Trek (TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, AOS), Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures, the Buffyverse, Harry Potter, The Dead Zone, Terry Pratchett's Discworld, Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan-verse, Star Wars, Nintendo games, Farscape, Leverage, White Collar, The X-Files, Fringe, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Community, Criminal Minds, due South, Lord of the Rings, and possibly something(s) that I accidentally skipped when making this list.

In order to make a lot of secrets, I asked other people for suggestions, so some of these are from thingswithwings, chagrined, and livrelibre. (Okay, a bunch are from thingswithwings.) No guessing secrets you suggested, guys!

I would love to play in your versions too, especially since I'm sitting here feeling gross and bored and flu-ridden. If you want to play by making your own secrets for fannish characters, you could post some in the comments, or make your own post and link to it, or whatever. If you're posting in the comments, please include a description of your secret and note in the subject line whether or not it's SFW.

If you have some characters' secrets to share but you don't want to or can't make images for whatever reason, you can post just the text, or you can pm or im me and tell me the text and what kind of image you want or a link to an image (and the genre of the show/book/etc, if you want me to use a futuristic/fantasy/whatever font) and I'll send you back a link to a secret. Name of character not necessary, so I can play too. (For example: picture of a planet or space phenomenon, "I used to think I'd go home when he died, now I'm not sure where home is," futuristic font.) Elegance of construction not guaranteed. This offer not valid in all jurisdictions, or if I start playing video games instead.

Also, I realized that I didn't have a secret for TNG, and I joked that really the only person I'd want to make a secret for there was Riker's beard. T'wings suggested "I never wanted to be his beard" and then we laughed forever.

ETA: There are two secrets left unguessed (counting the ones where someone made an awesome guess, but nobody guessed what I'd originally intended): #7 and 41. So I thought I'd narrow down the fandoms somewhat; the remaining ones come from: Stargate SG-1 and Nintendo video games.
